PP (polypropylene)
PP is a semi-crystalline plastic, this chlorine-free (environmentally friendly) material has also been used in the furniture industry as an alternative to the proven materials of PVC and ABS. The main advantage of polypropylene is that it is a light material that gives the roller shutter optimum functionality, it is impact resistant for optimum durability and PP is abosorbing sound better than booth PVC and ABS that makes the roller shutter door more silent when opend and closed. With the Doellken unique technology of wrapping the PP material with scratch resistant specially impregnated melamine foil gives the door booth superior scratch resistancy and unlimited design options using all possible varieties of solid color or printed patterned foils.
